2. Collection, use and storage of personal data

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, your name, email and phone number. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.

When visiting AwareGO website, you transmit data to our web server via your Internet browser (for technical reasons). The following data is recorded during a running connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Web browser and operating system used
  • Complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • Transferred data volume

For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server, these data are temporarily stored by us. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. Legal basis of the storage is article 6 of the GDPR.

Further personal information is only collected if you provide it voluntarily, for example as part of an inquiry or registration. Depending on the area concerned, AwareGO may use the personal data you provide to answer your enquiries, to process your order and for the purpose of technical administration of the websites.

3. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

4. Cookies

Cookies are files with small amounts of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Pursuant to recitals 47 and 48 and article 6 of GDPR, AwareGO creates user profiles for purposes of advertising, market research or for the demand-oriented design of AwareGO website, provided the user does not object to this.   •  Use of cookies
    Cookies are used for behavioural targeting on our website. These are text files by means of which data containing usage information (websites visited, number of visits, visiting times, length of stay on individual pages, etc.), i.e. usage profiles, are stored on your hard disk. These user profiles are anonymized and evaluated in a technical (statistical) evaluation procedure, in order to enable a selection related to the interests of the respective user when Internet advertising (e.g. banners) is uploaded to other websites. In no case personal data such as name, address, e-mail address are stored in the cookies.
  • Behavioural Advertising
    The IP address is collected directly from the service provider of behavioural targeting – on the AwareGO website but only stored and further processed there either in shortened or encrypted form (i.e. replaced by another sequence of numbers that does not allow any conclusions about the original IP number sequence and cannot be traced back again). AwareGO also offers advertising for websites of other providers and uses its targeting systems to select the collected data for the purpose of user-oriented advertising.

You can also object to the anonymous analysis of your surfing behaviour.

You can also use your browser settings to prevent cookies from being saved.

5. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

We want to inform our Service users that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

All data stored at AwareGO is protected by physical and technical measures as well as procedural measures that restrict access to the information to specially authorized persons in accordance with this data protection declaration. AwareGO website are located behind a software firewall to prevent access from other networks connected to the Internet. In addition, only employees who need the information to perform a specific task will have access to personal information. These employees are trained in security and privacy practices and will keep your information confidential.
  • Secure data transmission
    The transmission of your personal data within the framework of an order process in the online shop is encrypted using the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) technology (SSL encryption version 3).

Our Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. 8. Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.   • Withdrawal of consent (e.g. newsletter dispatch)
    You can withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data by AwareGO, for example for sending you the AwareGO newsletter, at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter, please click on the link “Unsubscribe newsletter” in one of the received newsletter e-mails at the very bottom.   • Your other rights
    You have the right to correct or delete or to limit the processing of your personal data, a right of objection to future processing and a right to data transferability.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are staying, working or the place of suspected infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to data protection rules.
